I just had dinner at the Boca Raton Lindburgers (8/25/15 ) at about 6:30 the food was ok, however when I went to pay my bill of $12.61 ( I gave $20.01 ) I was handed back the penny and told we don’t have change we round the bill off. I then received $ 7 in change ( $7.39) I was in shock ! I left a $2 tip and started to my car, once there I decided to return and speak to a manager. She gave me a dollar and said it shouldn’t have happened and she would speak with the server. She did not answer my question of : is this “rounding off” one bill standard practice. To me it sounds like fraud ! I will not be eating at a Lindbergers again!
